Nearing Christmas it’s nice to reflect over the past year. I can truly say I have had the best year yet in 2012 and am looking forward to many more fantastic years!
In July my partner Brent of 5 years asked me to marry him, while on holiday in the Yasawa Islands Fiji. And of course I said YES! Wedding plans are currently underway with a big engagement party to be held mid January 2013.
August brought more surprises! I entered a competition back in May through the NZ Horse & Pony magazine to win a horse of a lifetime and won! I flew down to Astek Stud in Christchurch and met the lovely and extremely generous Sue and Keith Fowler. I was given the choice of three beautiful young horses to choose from and picked Astek Guardsman aka Gymy.
October brought even more excitement! I left my job of two years at printing.com North Shore and started fulltime as designed by CCC. I can safely say this was a good call, I’ve had a steady stream of amazing clients and look forward to many more collaborations in the new year.
Lastly Brent and I extended our wee family and brought “Tyson” the 4 month old boxer off trademe. Now this could have potentially been a disaster getting an “older” puppy but he has been the best $200 we have ever spent and makes everyday that much brighter!
So that’s enough from me this year! We are now off to holiday at Lake Taupo and then Whitianga. I am excited about what 2013 will bring and see if it can top 2012! Thanks to everyone that has helped, encouraged and supported me this year, you are all wonderful! Merry Christmas and here’s to an excellent New Year!
