designed by CCC 3rd Birthday!

3rd-3

How quickly another year has flown by! I am very proud to have been operating as designed by CCC full time for exactly three years! But rather disappointed that my last blog was exactly a year ago celebrating my 2nd birthday (I better sort that out!)

My business has grown steadily over the last three years, that I now have a very consistent workload. I LOVE my job it provides the balance and flexibility that I need to pursue my passion for eventing! I am finding a lot of year 1 clients coming back for more work, plus gaining many loyal clients and meeting lots of like-minded start up business people – the PERFECT mix of clients!!!

I feel like my business is heading in the direction I want. After 3 years I have established my presence and have a reputation as one of the “go to” designers in the horse industry. What is really neat is tracing each job back and 9 times out of 10 there is a horse link in there somewhere! I didn’t realise just how lucky I was when I started my business that I had such a large network of great people! So I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you, who have contributed significantly to the success of my business 🙂

My real passion is helping out “start up” businesses I thoroughly enjoy meeting people and sharing their passion and enthusiasm for their new business. It is a hugely rewarding process from the initial brainstorming of a business name right through to the launching of the new business and watching the business grow! This has even taken me on a few adventures over NZ to meet people and their ideas… cue RIMUNUI STATION, in Wanganui!!!

RIMUNUI STATION – COMING SOON
Brent and I had an epic weekend at a very special place. Scott and Julayne
are keen to set up an eco-tourism business so people can come and enjoy the beautiful hills and bush. In all it was a super grounding experience, which made us want to live and work on a farm! Little old New Zealand sure is an amazing place! Watch this space I am very proud to be a part of this project 🙂

Check out my START UP BUSINESS PACKAGE which has become increasingly popular with clients, who want to take advantage of this extremely affordable package – to get your business up and running quickly!

I have enjoyed managing, monthly planing and creating content for facebook pages. In particular Donna Smith Eventing’s facebook page. Recently with her training videos we have “reached” between 5,000-10,000 people per video post. I strive to keep up with the ever changing Facebook, to take full advantage of this fabulous marketing platform, click here for more information about facebook management & design.

A few stand out projects from the last year are…

“Movement Matters” is a new programme offered by Harbour Sport that provides physical literacy training for early childhood educators, children and parents.
RIMUNUI STATION – where the ridges meet the sky COMING SOON
Tom Lane’s hoof dressing “Hoof N Good” has been a fun journey watching this NZ made product gain popularity and using it on my horses hooves.
Equidash was a super project to be a part of, which included the design and development of this SUPER exciting new equine online training tool.
McGregors Automotive Services has to be one of my absolute favourites!!! I love all things retro and bright. The use of the 1940’s iconic “Rosie the Riveter” makes for a stand out brand against the current automotive businesses available.
Beyond the Barriers NZ is a non-profit organisation who assists in the placement, retraining & promotion of thoroughbreds from the NZ racing industry. www.facebook.com/beyondthebarriersnz.
Beyond the Barriers NZ is a non-profit organisation who assists in the placement, retraining & promotion of thoroughbreds from the NZ racing industry. I was more than happy to “sponsor” this job as this initiative is very close to my heart.
Adding another skill to my services by creating an ONLINE STORE to Equipoise’s existing website.
COMING SOON Arlington Equestrian’s online store (I want to buy everything!!!)

I would like to thank my regular and loyal clients that continually recommend me to their friends, family and acquaintances. It is so rewarding to see the cycle of where jobs originate from, so I thank you all for trusting in my abilities – you all know who you are 😉

I’m excited to see where the new year takes my design work… but for now we are super busy with our two weekend “projects”; the 2nd HOUSE reno and the caravan project AND I’m looking forward to sharing both of these with you!!!

I urge any of you who have a small business idea to jump into it, start your own business and enjoy the ride!
